KeyFlip

Terms of use

Effective date: 7 October 2026

These terms apply to KeyFlip for Windows and this informational website. KeyFlip is developed by Alex LV. Questions can be sent to alex@alexlv.com.

About KeyFlip

KeyFlip corrects words typed with the wrong English or Russian phonetic keyboard layout. This website provides product and privacy information. App downloads are not yet publicly available.

Using the app

Use KeyFlip in applications and on devices you are authorized to use. It relies on installed Windows keyboard layouts and local dictionaries. You can choose layouts, add correction rules, and exclude applications in Settings.

Automatic corrections can be wrong. Review important text before sending or saving it. You can pause KeyFlip from the tray and undo the most recent correction with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace while it remains immediately before the caret. Pause KeyFlip when entering hidden terminal input.

Your settings and backups

You control the replacement rules, never-switch words, and excluded apps you save. Keep backups of settings you need. Local settings and the Google Drive sync file are readable JSON; do not use them to store passwords or other secrets.

Google Drive

Drive sync is optional and requires your authorization. Google’s terms and service limits also apply. You can disconnect the app or revoke its Google access at any time. If several PCs edit the same entry, the last syncing PC can determine the merged value.

Availability

KeyFlip is provided as available. Features can change, and corrections or sync can fail. The developer does not promise uninterrupted service, error-free corrections, or recovery of lost settings.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains local keyboard processing, settings, diagnostics, Google Drive access, and data deletion.
